New Productions. New Worlds. New Possibilities.
WHAT I CAN CREATE FOR YOUR THEATRE
From artistic concept to complete theatrical production

Ballet, Opera & Theatre
New productions, contemporary reinterpretations of classical works, original ballets, operas, musical theatre, physical theatre and multidisciplinary performances.
From classical repertoire to completely new theatrical forms.

Complete Creative Direction
I can develop a production from the initial concept through direction, choreography, visual dramaturgy, lighting, costume and stage design.
The objective is to maintain one artistic vision throughout the entire creative process.

Original Music & Sound
Collaboration with composers and musicians, development of an original score, soundtrack production, arrangement, orchestration and recording.
Music is treated as part of the dramaturgy rather than simply an accompaniment to the action.

Casting & Creative Teams
Selection of performers and formation of creative teams according to the artistic concept and scale of the project.

Stage & Technical Development
Site assessment, stage analysis, optimization of available technical resources and adaptation of the artistic concept to the specific venue.

Lighting & Visual Technology
Development of lighting dramaturgy, projection and video mapping, multimedia environments and emerging visual technologies.

Video & Audience Development
Creation of teasers, artistic films, visual campaigns and promotional content designed not simply to advertise a production, but to establish its visual identity and attract an audience.

Artistic & Production Consulting
Creative problem-solving, production assessment and artistic quality control for theatres, companies and cultural organizations.

When a production is already in development, I can also help identify artistic, visual or structural problems and develop practical solutions.

THE ART OF NEW FORMS
I am interested in the space between tradition and the future.
Ancient myths can become contemporary theatre.
Classical ballet can acquire a new visual language.
Opera can become cinematic.
A familiar story can reveal an unexpected meaning.
The goal is not to modernize a work simply for the sake of technology.
**The goal is to find the form that the idea requires.
Every detail — from a gesture and a movement to a costume, a shadow or a pattern on the stage — can carry meaning.
SELECTED CONCEPTS & PRODUCTION IDEAS
ANNUSHKA
A psychological portrait told through movement and image.
What happens after Anna's final choice?
The production explores the transformation of a woman who enters a new world of luxury and attention — and gradually loses the qualities that once defined her.
The story is told primarily through choreography, physical theatre, visual composition, video and costume.
Dialogue is deliberately minimal.

The performance draws on the traditions of physical theatre, modern dance and the choreographic theatre of Pina Bausch, creating a psychologically charged visual narrative.
DUEL
A chamber performance for two dancers.
Love. Loneliness. Attraction. Separation.
He and She exist in a relationship that seems to continue across different lives and realities.
In his world, she is a vision.
In hers, he is a force that simultaneously attracts and repels.
The stage becomes a room outside ordinary time — a space in which fragments of different lives and unfinished stories intersect.
75 minutes
2 performers
Black box / flexible stage
Complex lighting score
5 costume transformations
Original sound design

A production designed for two charismatic dancers with a strong modern/contemporary background.
THE LAST TEMPTATION
A contemporary myth about faith, doubt and choice.
Set against the final days of Pompeii, the story follows Vincent, an artist who earns his living creating drawings while increasingly experiencing voices and visions.
He begins to question his purpose — and whether the force guiding him comes from God or the Devil.
After being betrayed by his closest friend, Vincent begins a journey accompanied by an invisible presence.
His path leads him through isolation, temptation and suffering toward a final confrontation with himself.

A contemporary theatrical work about faith, free will and the search for meaning.
PLAY
A performance that behaves like cinema.
The audience believes they are watching an improvised performance built from acting and choreography.
But the real dramaturgy is created by video and sound.
The performers appear to improvise in real time while an invisible cinematic structure controls what the audience sees, hears and understands.
The work explores one fundamental question:
Can we exist without seeing ourselves reflected by someone else?
From the voice of a mother to the first image in a mirror, our understanding of who we are is constructed through reflection.

The performance moves between choreography, acting, video and live presence — creating a theatre in which reality itself becomes uncertain.
A NEW FULL-LENGTH BALLET
A large-scale ballet mystery based on a major classical musical work.
An entirely new theatrical interpretation of a familiar classical musical world.
Two acts • approximately 50 minutes each
4 principal characters
5 supporting/interlude roles
Large corps de ballet
Up to 60 performers
The production combines:
Original choreography
Symphonic score
Epic costume design
Transforming scenery
Advanced lighting dramaturgy
Multimedia possibilities

Designed for a major theatre stage, including venues with a proscenium width of approximately 14 metres or more.
A new full-length work created from the visual and dramatic potential of the classical repertoire.
THE CHRONICLE OF THE ANCIENT CITY
A large-scale theatrical journey through history and mythology.
An original production built from historical research, national traditions and an original dramatic script.
Ornament, music, costume, movement and visual design are derived from the cultural identity of the world being portrayed.
The story is rooted in national epic.
A central character travels through time and space, entering different worlds and encountering their elements, guardians and deities.

The result is a large-scale visual theatre in which history, mythology and contemporary stage technology become one theatrical language.
THE SPACE WITHIN
A solo performance about the inner universe of one human being.
One performer.
One body.
One life.
The performance follows the artist's personal journey — his transformations, memories, choices and existential questions.
The entire visual environment is concentrated around a single performer.
Light, sound, movement, video and space become extensions of his inner world.

A chamber work for an intimate theatre, black box or alternative performance space.
THE VOICES OF THE GODS
A large-scale multimedia theatrical experience.
A synthesis of theatre, contemporary 3D technology, video installation, immersive lighting, choral and vocal performance, ballet and live orchestra.
The central character — the Wanderer — moves through a world of questions about faith, history, good and evil, memory and the contradictions of human existence.
Past and present begin to overlap.
Time and space become interconnected.
Answers appear not as explanations, but as images, voices, music and movement.
Production scale
150+ performers and musicians
20+ tons of scenery and technical equipment
Ballet • Choir • Vocalists • Orchestra • Video • 3D • Lighting

A production conceived for a major theatre, festival or large-scale cultural event.
HAVE A THEATRE, FESTIVAL OR PROJECT IN MIND?
You may already have:

a title without a concept,
a story without a stage language,
a theatre without a new production,
a production that needs a new visual identity,
or simply an idea that has not yet found its form.

Let's develop it.

Tell me what you are trying to create — and we can explore the artistic and practical solution together.

Available for commissions, new productions, artistic collaborations, residencies and international projects.

Nikita Dmitrievsky

CLASSICAL REIMAGINED
Classical ballet — contemporary visual language.

A new interpretation of a classical ballet using contemporary choreography, lighting, projection, scenography and multimedia technology.

The objective is not to replace the original language, but to reveal new dimensions within it.

OPERA / FUTURE
Opera in a high-tech visual world

Opera combined with elements of futurism, steampunk, contemporary visual art, projection and advanced lighting.

A visual environment designed to make the opera feel immediate and cinematic while preserving the power of the original music.
PHILOSOPHICAL GRUNGE
A contemporary crossover between movement, music and theatre

A production built around contemporary genres, unconventional visual solutions and a raw physical aesthetic.

Classical theatrical structures meet modern movement, live performance, video and an alternative visual language.
